In Spring 2019, we were brought on to support the marketing of the Wildflower Century Ride. The results were immediate: through a revitalized, mission-driven social media presence, we reintroduced the ride’s legacy while highlighting the community, scenic routes, and value it brings to cyclists of all levels. Following that success, SLOBC quickly expanded our role to include management of both major rides and daily oversight of their social media communications.

While the COVID-19 pandemic led to the cancellation of both major events in 2020 and part of 2021, our ongoing brand messaging played a key role in maintaining engagement. Through consistent, values-driven content—educational posts, safety tips, ride highlights, inspirational quotes, and community stories—we helped SLOBC stay connected with its members during an unprecedented time when in-person rides weren’t possible.

Now, with events back on the calendar and registration campaigns actively promoted, we’re seeing strong momentum. From countdown campaigns and registration reminders to ride previews and local partnerships, our social content is fostering community, increasing visibility, and ultimately driving renewed interest in the Wildflower and Lighthouse Century rides.

As we look ahead, our focus remains on amplifying SLOBC’s voice as a leader in local cycling, driving registrations, supporting membership growth, and ensuring the club continues to thrive for years to come.
