Tigers Fight Cancer

Tigers Fight Cancer is a non-profit public benefit company dedicated to supporting individuals within the San Luis Obispo High School community who are affected by cancer. Their mission is to provide emotional, financial, and practical support to students, families, and staff facing the challenges of cancer.

The Challenge

Tigers Fight Cancer was formed in 2024 as a club for SLO high school students and quickly became a full fledged 501(c)(3) non-profit in order to raise funds on school grounds.

The club approached Daniel in early 2024 with the goal of launching a website so supporters could sign-up for the inaugural 5k adventure run.

Our Solution

Website Creation: The website launched March 19th and since then has helped raised thousands of dollars for those currently battling cancer. Supporters can register for the next Adventure 5K, or donate funds directly – all through the website. Email marketing was implemented with the addition of a Mail Chimp integration to communicate event details to participants and donors.

Results

Since its inception Tigers Fight Cancer has donated thousands of dollars to local recipients and provided volunteer opportunities for students at both San Luis Obispo high school and Laguna Lake middle school.
